AI Enablement

AI that connects demand, supply and manufacturing, from forecast to shop floor

Taksh Solutions helps manufacturers put AI to work across planning and execution in SAP: sharper demand signals, faster supply decisions and production that responds to change. AI proposes, explains and automates the routine work, and your planners stay in control of the decisions.

Where AI helps

Practical AI for demand, supply and manufacturing

We focus on use cases where AI saves planners time or improves a decision you make every day, and we build them on the SAP data and processes you already run.

01Demand

Sharper demand signals

Forecasts that learn from more than history, and a clear story behind every change.

  • Machine learning forecasting with price, promotion and event drivers
  • Short-term demand sensing from orders and shipments
  • Automatic detection of forecast bias and unusual demand
  • Plain-language summaries of what changed for S&OP reviews
For planners: less time cleaning data, more time on the calls that matter.
02Supply

Faster supply decisions

Exceptions ranked by business impact, with options already worked out.

  • Prioritized shortages and exceptions instead of long alert lists
  • What-if simulation of demand changes and supply disruptions
  • Early warning on supplier and lead-time risk
  • Recommendations for safety stock and planning parameters
For planners: start the day with a short, ranked list and proposed actions.
03Manufacturing

Production that responds to change

Schedules and orders that adjust when demand, materials or capacity change.

  • Order release readiness checks for materials, capacity and schedule
  • Disruption alerts with rescheduling proposals in PP/DS
  • Engineering change triage for complex assembly in PEO
  • Master data and quality anomaly detection before problems reach the line
For supervisors: fewer surprises at order release and on the shop floor.
Demand to execution

One change, carried through every plan

The real value of AI comes when a change in one area is carried through to the next automatically, instead of waiting for the next planning meeting.

Demand
SAP IBP · S&OP

AI senses a demand shift and updates the short-term forecast.

Supply
SAP IBP · MRP

AI checks component and capacity impact and ranks the resulting exceptions.

Schedule
Embedded PP/DS

AI proposes a revised, feasible schedule and highlights bottlenecks.

Execute
PP · PEO · Digital Manufacturing

AI checks order readiness and flags shop floor issues as they happen.

Illustrative scenario

A key customer pulls in a large order by two weeks

  1. Sense. Demand sensing flags the order change and updates the near-term forecast for the affected products.
  2. Plan. Supply exceptions are recalculated. Two critical components are short, and AI proposes expediting one and using an approved alternate for the other.
  3. Schedule. PP/DS proposes a revised sequence on the bottleneck line and shows which other orders move as a result.
  4. Decide. The planner reviews the proposal, with the reasons explained, and approves it with one adjustment.
  5. Execute. Order release checks confirm materials and capacity before the orders reach the shop floor, and confirmations flow back to planning.
How we apply AI

Useful, explainable and under your control

AI in planning only works if people trust it. These principles shape every engagement.

People decide

AI proposes and automates routine steps. Planners and supervisors approve the decisions that matter.

Every proposal is explained

Recommendations show what changed and why, so planners can check them quickly.

Data comes first

Forecasts and agents are only as good as the master data and history behind them.

Start small, prove value

Begin with one use case, measure it against today’s process, then scale what works.

Built on your SAP core

Use cases run on the SAP processes and data you already have, not in a separate silo.

Governed and secure

Access, data use and approvals follow your security and compliance policies.

How we engage

From first use case to connected planning

A step-by-step path that delivers value early and builds toward an orchestrated demand-to-execution process.

01

AI readiness assessment

Identify the highest-value use cases across demand, supply and manufacturing, and check whether your data and processes are ready.

02

Data and process foundation

Fix the master data, planning parameters and KPIs that AI depends on, so results are reliable from day one.

03

Pilot one use case

Deliver a focused pilot, such as ML forecasting or order release checks, and measure it against the current process.

04

Connect and orchestrate

Link use cases across demand, supply and manufacturing so changes flow from one plan to the next.

05

Adoption and governance

Planner training, approval rules and performance monitoring so AI keeps earning trust after go-live.

06

Platforms

SAP Business AI and Joule, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA with embedded PP/DS and PEO, SAP Digital Manufacturing, and custom models where they add value.

Our practices

AI that builds on strong planning and manufacturing

AI enablement works best on top of solid processes. Combine it with our supply chain planning and manufacturing practices.

Questions we often hear

AI Enablement FAQ

Where should we start with AI in supply chain and manufacturing?

Start with one decision your team makes every day and where data already exists, such as short-term forecasting, shortage prioritization or order release checks. A focused pilot shows value quickly and tells you what to fix before scaling.

Will AI replace our planners?

No. AI takes on the repetitive work, such as cleaning data, sorting exceptions and preparing options. Planners spend more time on judgment calls, supplier and customer conversations, and approving the decisions that matter.

Do we need clean data before we start?

You need data that is good enough for the use case you choose. Part of our assessment is checking the master data and history a use case depends on, and fixing the gaps that would make results unreliable.

Which SAP products do we need?

It depends on the use case. Many start with capabilities in SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP, including machine learning forecasting and SAP’s Joule assistant and agents. Availability depends on your SAP products, release and licensing, so we confirm what you already have before recommending anything new.

How do you keep AI recommendations trustworthy?

Every use case has clear approval rules, explanations for its recommendations and measures that compare results with the current process. If a recommendation can’t be explained, it doesn’t go into production.
